Mydocadvisor.com (MDA) appreciates that it is of utmost importance to ensure that you get to the required information in a simple, quick and efficient manner. In line with this we have provided you with three options to search for the information.
The data for each healthcare service provider (HSP) is available in the profile created for them. Each profile has three independent sections - A Hospitals Profile, A Speciality Profile and A Doctor Profile. This to ensure we provide you with comprehensive and holistic information required to make the best choice.
In this page we will first highlight the search options available for you to identify the relevant doctors/hospital, then detail how you can access the relevant information within each profile.
Search Options
Option 1 - Key Word Search: In this box you can type your specific issue. Please do not type sentences here but only key a single key word to get the best result or in some relevant cases more than one word. MDA will search its entire database to check for those words and bring back the results. You will need to choose a broad speciality to which your issue relates too (i.e Option 2), like Cardiology or Ophthalmology. This allows you to narrow down your search in a broad category. If you are not sure of the word or the spelling then avoid using this search and simply search by the broad speciality.
For instance: You can type ‘Stenting’ and choose the broad speciality of Cardiology (which is Option 2). On the above search MDA will bring back results of all those hospitals that conduct ‘Stenting’ as a procedure under Cardiology.
Should MDA not match any key word then it will bring up all the results in the speciality you have chosen.
Option 2 – Select Speciality: This is a mandatory field. In this you have to choose the broad speciality in which you are searching for a doctor. MDA has done a lot of research to bring you the most simplified manner to view the information required.We believe that even by just choosing the broad speciality and not typing any key word you would be able get to the information you require in a very simple, quick and efficient manner.
Option 3 – Select City– In this option you can filter your results by the city, if you are looking for doctors only in a particular city as opposed to pan-India. Should you want to identify doctors across the cities that MDA is currently in, then leave this field blank.
Search Results Page
Depending on your selections above, MDA will show you all the results on a single page.
You will be able to view the logo of the hospital chosen and a snapshot of the description of the speciality you have chosen in that particular hospital.Once you select your result it will take you to the speciality page where you will be able to read about the speciality of the hospital you selected and view the list of recommended doctors within that hospital.
Note: If you are using the service for the first time, MDA will prompt you to read its Terms & Conditions along with the privacy policy prior to viewing the complete profile.
Profile Pages
Each profile that MDA has created has three sections to it. The link to the others section of the profile are available within each profile. This is to ensure we provide comprehensive information in a structured manner for you to be able to access the information efficiently and make an informed decision. The three sections are -
Hospital Profile: In this we provide all the information about the hospital. Ranging from a write up on the hospital to information on insurance, admissions, its awards & achievements, services provided, its key technology etc.
Speciality Profile: In this page we provide relevant information related to that particular speciality and the doctors linked to that speciality in the hospital selected. A multi speciality hospital may have more than one speciality therefore we provide information relevant to each specific speciality and link the relevant doctors of that speciality to that page. We provide information ranging from a description of that speciality, all services/procedures conducted and key technology used in that speciality at the hospital.
Doctors Profile:In this page we provide thorough details of the doctors background, speciality, academic and work experience along with any achievements to help you make an informed decision of choosing your doctor.
